Online Thinking Class (OTC)

Traditionally, education has been happening within close physical proximity having an emphasis on knowing than understanding, delivered by preachers who have hardly practiced their preaching. Why we must transform education now?

The population of India has been steadily increasing, leading to lop-sided growth and widening social inequalities. Unfortunately, this has given rise to several social issues that have become increasingly prevalent. Such as poverty, malnutrition, inequality, human trafficking, exploitation, child labor, alcoholism, corruption, and crime are just a few examples of the many issues plaguing the country.

It is imperative to carefully analyze the data and trends surrounding these social issues to understand the gravity of the situation. If immediate action is not taken to correct these issues, they will only continue to escalate and give rise to even more pressing problems.

At the root of these social issues lies a lack of awareness, education, and values. The lack of education and awareness leads to a lack of understanding and empathy for the issues that are prevalent in the country. This, in turn, leads to a lack of action and perpetuates the cycle of poverty and inequality. Values such as empathy, compassion, and social responsibility are crucial to creating a society that is equitable and just.

It is therefore essential to prioritize education that can help create a more informed and empathetic population. This, coupled with efforts to address poverty and inequality, can help in the eradication of these social issues. By addressing these issues holistically, we can create a society that is more just and equitable for all its citizens.
